Simple changes in how we treat our environment can help the Susquehanna River and Chesapeake Bay. Your involvement is critical to protecting these resources for future generations to enjoy.
Follow these basic tenets and leave no trace of your visit:
- Plan ahead and prepare
- Camp and recreate on durable surfaces and existing clearings
- Pack It In, Pack It Out – leave the site cleaner than you found it
- Properly dispose of what can’t be Packed Out
- Leave what you find – respect wildlife, natural and cultural heritage
- Minimize use and impact of fires
